Hi friends,
I would like to share my experience working in LINUX platforms for the 1st time ever.I believe this post is just a beginning to discover something useful to others when they really love to start working in LINUX.Before getting started off with UBUNTU a week ago, I had an assumption surrounded by an illusion in my mind that nothing is better than windows OS because of the reason may be the addiction I had(have) on windows and windows still rocks no doubt in that.I should accept that this assumption was really due to unawareness about other platforms.
An interest and fascination towards LINUX began when my friend Nandakumar told me about participating in a open-source application development projects conducted by web search giant. To be frank I don't know anything about open-source applications but would be interested in learning new things.I do hope it will give you an uniqueness among your college friends or company colleagues due to simple reason that its more important to be a student in this game played by human competitors called LEARNING and learning never ends and anything learnt never be considered as a waste. When I saw that corresponding site to know about the tools and languages required for the open-source application Oh My GOD!! It was a kind of shock that I didn't even come across those names and that ignorance hit me very hard in self-realizing the bitter fact that I had done nothing to update myself technically in these many years of college life.
As a result of this unconsciousness, got some useful docs based on basic open-source programming from my friend Sornakumar who knows a lot about LINUX particularly UBUNTU.Nothing can be achieved in over-night but I believe the steps to achievement is directly proportional to the precious time spent beneficially.
I hope I will post regular informative stuff about LINUX programming :-)

GOOOOOOOOOOOOGLE TV !!
Friends we all know that Google is the all time leader of innovation in web.Do you think they'l restrict their brains from thinking apart from web??!!!! Noooo.....
Now, they entered into electronics world by taking a 1st step in developing a TV that is embedded with web technology and supported with Google's Android applications.
The websites are now tweaked by the developers in such a way to give a better view in the television. And Google will be expected to create a revolution in this field by introducing their mind blowing product along with SONY....!!!!
Hope you all will be eager to know about the modernism of Google TV and its advance features.
Here we go...........................................
There's more on TV than television.
Search your television
Type in what you want to watch, and we'll find it for you. Google TV lets you seamlessly search all of the content on your TV, the web, and apps – then access it with a single click. You can also easily switch between TV and the web without having to change inputs on your television.
The web is now a channel
With Google Chrome and Adobe Flash Player 10.1, Google TV lets you access everything on the web. Watch your favorite web videos, view photos, play games, check fantasy scores, chat with friends, and do everything else you're accustomed to doing online. Plus, the world's best websites are now being perfected for television -- check out our Spotlight gallery for examples.A new world of apps for your TV
Google TV will come pre-loaded with apps like Netflix, Twitter, CNBC, Pandora, Napster, NBA Game Time, Amazon Video On Demand and Gallery. Starting early next year, apps from Android Market will work on Google TV as well.Watch the video.

Your phone = remote control
Your Android phone or iPhone can be used to control your Google TV in place of a remote control. Use your voice to search, and even use multiple
phones to control the same TV. No more fighting over the remote! Fling a video to your television
Find a great website on your phone and want to show it to everyone? Now you can. "Fling" what you're watching, listening to, or doing on your phone by sending it to your TV with the press of a button.
Watch it now
Never miss a show again. With Google TV, you can access over 40,000 shows and movies whenever you want with Netflix ($8.99 a month) or Amazon Video On Demand (shows start at 99 cents!).
YouTube perfected for TV
YouTube is great on the web, but it's even better on television. With YouTube Leanback, you can watch videos without ever clicking play -- just sit back and watch all of your favorite YouTube content, personally chosen for you, in full screen HD. You can even create new channels on the fly. Watch and browse,
simultaneously
With Google TV, you can browse the web or open an app and watch TV on the same screen. Check your fantasy football stats while watching the game, check your @replies on Twitter during American Idol, or purchase a product online right after you watch the ad. It's just like picture-in-picture mode, but with the web and the TV.

TV gets a homepage
Turn on your television and you'll instantly have access to your favorite channels, apps, podcasts, and websites, thanks to the Google TV home screen. The home screen is customizable for you, by you, so that you can always change your preferences.
Create a TV playlist
Want to watch something, but don't have time right now? Send it to your Google Queue and watch it later. You can also subscribe to your favorite websites and video podcasts, add YouTube videos, and more. It's like building a DVR for the web.
Record from the search bar
If you're a DISH Network subscriber using Google TV, you’ll enjoy many enhanced TV and DVR features, including recording a show right from the search bar and being able to search all of your recordings at once.Rock out in your living room
Listen to your favorite music on the best speakers in your house by creating a personal radio station on the fly with Pandora or listening to any song, any time, with Napster.

The ultimate picture frame
Turn the biggest screen in your house into a beautiful, high definition photo gallery. Now your TV can stream photos from Picasa, Flickr, and every other photo-sharing site. Plus, you can access any public gallery, not just your own.Over-the-air updates
How many consumer electronics products go up in value after you buy them? Google TV updates itself automatically, so you'll get new features for free.

Young SuperStar weds Charming Anushka

The ‘young superstar’ Silambarasan known for his rollicking love affairs in the past is all set to settle down with his lady love.
The hero who recently altered his Little Superstar title, seems to be making a conscious effort to change his image to that of a sophisticated, young gentleman from the previous image of a romeo.
Having proclaimed his affinity for Anushka, soon after her Arundhati success, the charmer has never hidden his feelings for her. However the marriage has come as a total shocker to the industry and friends.
Simbu has already indulged his ladylove in some expensive gifts, including a De Beers diamond necklace and a Mont Blanc pen, with which Anushka has even inked a few film contracts. The couple has also recently been house hunting in posh localities like Boat Club and Poes Garden.
Simbu who has been linked with some of his past heroines says, “Anushka is a total beauty. I admire her professionalism and the grace with which she handles her personal life. Truly, I am lucky to have her.” The beauty is apparently visiting all the Chennai designers to plan her trousseau and her makeup artiste Nikki has already started exploring ‘looks’ for her big day.
Dressed in an elegant Manish Malhotra pink saree and glowing with shimmery cheek blush, the actress visited Simbu’s parents and sought their blessings last week. After the wedding, which is going to be a “simple south Indian affair,” Simbu shares, “I am planning to take her to Rome or Florence for the honeymoon. She deserves the best.”
Anushka speaking to the paper also disclosed, “I love his X6 BMW. He took me on a long drive and that’s when he proposed to me. I had to say yes, since he is such a well brought up person with nice values.” Visiting temples might not be Simbu’s favourite pastime, but he has apparently taken Anushka to an Amman temple in Kalakshetra colony in Besant Nagar to show his commitment towards marriage.
Although the couple believes in keeping it simple, the wedding is set to be a glitzy affair with some of the couple’s closest star pals in attendance.
Simbu is planning to get his clothes done by Sidney Sladen, while Anushka is still on the lookout for a designer.
Simbu who proposed to Anushka during a long drive, presented her with a solitaire ring from Tiffany’s.
Managing to surprise his close friends, Simbu told his dear ones about the marriage during a night out at a city bar . After marriage the couple plans to set up home in Chennai and plan to initiate their own production house.

Hi friends here comes my next blog to unlock my blog account after a long long time...Away from sports and film news i want to share some additional earful stuff... I would like to tell about the most enjoyable 7years of my life so far i.e nothing but my schooling from 6th to 12th std...guys who read this line may freakout bcoz its very rare to hear that any section in any standard in any school has 120+ students in a single section...After completing my primary education in a private convent i got seat in a famous and most familiar school in our district by getting passed in an entrance exam(so tough :P)...when i entered into my 6th std i got fed up by seeing such a massive jam packed crowd(i should mention :D) in my section alone...OMG!!!! surely you would go crazy go haywire fly out by reading this line that we had 7sections with 120+ students in 6th standard OOOOOMMMMGGGGGGG!!!!!!!! But i had a small upbeat and overjoyed feeling that no teacher will be able to check all the students homework and definitely they dont correct our exam papers and most importantly they dont know who are all in the class and their names :P ... But what we assessed them was totttttalllyyy wrong BELIEVE IT OR NOT our teachers were able to remember all of our names and our mischievous activities and surely they dont retain in mind any good things done by us :X they were capable enough to return our exam papers on the very next day to put us in distress and give us headache...
